How the Tellspoland Concrete Provider Network Works
Request an estimate when you feel ready
Who you talk to
You will talk to an independent local provider from our network. These are separate businesses that pour driveways and patios. Tellspoland Concrete does not do the concrete work, so the provider is the one who visits your home, answers your questions and writes your quote.
What happens on the call
A first talk is usually short and simple. The provider may ask:
- What you want to build, such as a driveway, a patio or a stamped finish
- About how big the space is
- Whether there is an old slab to remove
- How old your house is and what you know about past work
If you do not know an answer, that is fine. Say so. A good provider will explain and may suggest a site visit.
What to ask a provider
You do not need to know concrete terms. Bring these questions:
- Can you look under the slab or at the ground before you quote?
- How will you prepare the base so it handles deep frost and spring water?
- What happens if you find soft spots or old repairs?
- Will you pull any permits that are needed?
- Is the quote in writing, with what is and is not included?
- How long before the concrete can be walked on or driven on?
Older homes can hide surprises, like buried pipes or patched foundations. Ask how the provider handles a surprise and how a change in price would be explained.
You are in control
Talking to a provider does not mean you must hire one. You can ask for more than one quote, take a few days, and say no. Nobody should rush you. If a provider pushes you to sign on the spot, that is a good reason to pause.
Keep every quote and agreement in writing. Keep notes on what each provider said, so you can compare calmly later.
